Hi. I’m Nigel Shearing - AKA The Curios Boy. This site is about sharing a journey of reflection, curiosity, and growing self-expression.

 

I have been fascinated with the beauty, structure and order of pianos for a long time now. And most of the music I love is influenced by them in one way or another. The voice of a piano touches me deeply. Add this to a journey of self reflection, growth and creative expression, and it becomes clear to see why they are so important. Especially when they hold so much from their past and their potential for new life and form is discarded and forgotten.

 

So, here we are. It won't always be about pianos but for now they're the one. I hope you enjoy what I do as much as I do creating it. It's an evolving journey. The more curious I am the more opportunities seem to open up. Here's to the piano and all that have loved, made, played and enjoyed one over the years. And here's to igniting life and spirit into lost, forgotten and discarded souls that hold on to so much more.
