This is an exciting start to a new series of sculptures around time, energy, flowers and emotions.
This one presents 16 flowers for 16 emotions. Some watered. Some not. Some blossoming. Some repressed. Some overpowering. It aims to prompt a curious moment of self reflection, stirred by tiny mirrors as stamens in all but the least attended.
It's been entered for the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition in London. The competition is high and this is a first attempt amongst 18,000 entries! it measures 1.7m high, 0.8m wide and 0.4m deep. The initial shortlist is out on 18th March! Fingers crossed.
