Here’s the first in a series of larger, more abstract work. Exploring the constraints of safety through the release of order and symmetry, moving towards something more impulsive, less controlled and free. It feels like new light and new form with courage and trust.
The abstract blooms resemble DNA and emerge from long forgotten action parts with new beginnings and vigour. The sculpture contains parts from no less than 11 pianos!
It was a lot of fun. I’ve learned a lot and can already feel the energy and form of what’s to come.
